The luxury hotel Cheval Blanc St-Tropez, owned by the LVMH group, has just announced that it will reopen its doors on Thursday, June 18th for its second summer season. After the storm, luxury, calm and pleasure are waiting for us under the bright Mediterranean sun.
“At a time when the trees are blooming, when the summer breeze mingles with the fineness of the grains of sand, the song of the birds heralds the awakening of the Tropezian Maison. The azure village with the iconic citadel lightens up, the sea iodine joyfully lands on its cobblestones, inviting travellers from each side of the world to discover its charms.”
In these few poetic and rhythmic words, the 5-star Cheval Blanc St-Tropez hotel announced yesterday Tuesday, May 19 its reopening on June 18th, after more than two months off.
An exceptional house lulled by the Provençal sun
Owned by LVMH Hotel Management – the LVMH Group’s entity specializing in high-end hotels – this exceptional hotel was inaugurated in May 2019 but was forced to close its doors last March after less than a year of activities, as the coronavirus epidemic began to spread across the country.
Formerly Residence de la Pinède, Cheval Blanc St-Tropez is the 4th Maison Cheval Blanc of the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton group, world leader in luxury products.
After undergoing major changes in terms of architecture, decoration and tailor-made services, in May this year it was able to join the collection of the Cheval Blanc Houses (after Courchevel, the Maldives and Saint-Barth) because it has been able to embody its values: Creativity, Exclusivity, the Art of entertaining and Know-how.
It was also awarded the distinction of Palace in November 2019 after only a few months of existence, placing it among the finest hotels in France.
Cheval Blanc St-Tropez has indeed been designed with the purpose of revealing the contemporary and refined art of living specific to the French Riviera, while preserving the authenticity and charm of the place. Its size has been deliberately reduced in order to offer exclusivity and intimacy, as in a private residence.
Today Cheval Blanc St-Tropez is composed of 30 rooms and suites, all facing the sea, the pine forest and the famous village of Saint-Tropez, and offers a highly personalized service.
Mediterranean excellence
“From June 18th, 2020, Cheval Blanc St-Tropez reopens its doors to cherish the day anew, facing the Mediterranean Sea. New season, new discoveries and new flavours await in this summer’s recipe sparked with Mediterranean colours…”
For its reopening on June 18th, the Tropézienne House promises its future clients an exceptional experience.
Top-of-the-line services will include lunches inspired by the scents of Guerlain by chef Arnaud Donckele, as well as dinners at the three-star restaurant La Vague d’Or for a gastronomic journey through the Mediterranean.
Cheval Blanc St-Tropez is also and above all the Cheval Blanc spa, a true haven of peace dedicated to relaxation and well-being. Open to all, the beauty experts will offer exclusive rituals elaborated by Guerlain, inspired by the Mediterranean, the scent of pine trees and the iodized breeze to delight the senses, with a menu of tailor-made treatments and specially designed massages.
A true refuge, the Secret Garden will also host Hatha Yoga classes, available by reservation.
“Cheval Blanc St-Tropez wants each of its guests to enjoy their stay to the fullest, cherishing excellence as well as kindness and humility with services and amenities that the teams are committed to ensuring that they remain at the highest level, even in these troubled times“, said the establishment in an official statement on May 19, assuring its hosts that it has lost none of its excellence.
Designed as a sanctuary overlooking the Mediterranean, Cheval Blanc St-Tropez remains a five-star destination to be enjoyed quickly, as an invitation to a peaceful holiday in the midst of seaside landscapes and charming Provencal nature.
