[vc_row njt-role=”people-in-the-roles” njt-role-user-roles=”administrator,armember”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Called the UX, it is the very first electric model in the ToyotaLexus range. This hybrid-powered SUV offers three different versions and is available to order at a price of €49,900 excluding bonuses.

After a preview presentation at the Guangzhou International Motor Show in Guangzhou in November 2019, the two brands are now launching their electric SUV model across Europe.

The UX electric SUV offers three different trim levels: an entry-level Pack model, a Luxury version and an Executive version.

With a price slightly higher than the market price, the Lexus UX is priced at €49,900 excluding a €3,000 bonus, valid until the end of the year.

Its Pack model, the Lexus UX 300e, is a fully equipped 4.50m compact SUV. With electrically adjustable front seats and steering wheel, it also features an Android auto and Apple CarPlay compatible interface and 17-inch alloy wheels.

This model is also equipped with a 204 horsepower engine and a 54.3 kWh battery. This electric range has the advantage of being able to offer its various users a long range of up to 315 km (WLTP).

Its Electric Luxury version offers more options and finishes that have a cost: this version of the UX is available at a minimum price of €54,990 excluding bonuses, i.e. a little over €5,000 difference “only”. This model features leather upholstery and front seats, rear bench seat and heated steering wheel to maximize driving comfort, with intelligent parking radars included.

Finally, the Executive version is the top model of the UX range, available for €61,990. With a 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, this premium model also features a sunroof, power tailgate, triple-lens LED headlamps with adaptive high beam and 18-inch alloy wheels.

It should be remembered that since its launch last year, the Lexus UX has become the brand’s best-selling model in Europe, selling around 30,000 units. This range now represents nearly 5% of the Japanese brand’s sales segment, more than double its market share in the premium segment (2.3%).

Both Toyota and Lexus expect this new electric model to account for at least 15% of the compact SUV mix in Europe.
