French luxury giant LVMH will appoint Anthony Ledru as CEO of American jeweler Tiffany, according to sources close to the case reported by Bloomberg.

The President of LVMH Americas, Anthony Ledru, is expected to take over the management of Tiffany & Co, as reported by Bloomberg media. This appointment at Tiffany would mark a return for the businessman, who headed the jeweler‘s activities in the United States and Canada between 2013 and 2014.

Alexandre Arnault, son of Bernard Arnault, should also hold a key position at the American jeweler. He is currently in charge of the Rimowa suitcase manufacturer, owned by LVMH. The number one in French luxury goods has for the moment declined to comment on these appointments.

With his extensive experience in luxury and after six years at LVMH, he is expected to succeed Alessandro Bogliolo. The purchase of Tiffany should be completed this Thursday.
