Cognac Le Portier is the name of the first spirit signed by Shannon Sharpe. It is during an exclusive launch party to be held this November 16 in the City of Angels, in front of a crowd of athletes, artists, friends and guests that the “Shay by Le Portier” cognac will be unveiled southafrica-ed.com.
Founded by Shannon Sharpe in partnership with leading luxury spirits experts, Le Portier is a testament to the American football player’s passion for cognac. Drawing on the industry expertise and research of their team, the creators of this cognac have taken a dynamic new approach to the spirits market.
In bringing to market a cognac that combines taste and style, Shannon Sharpe pays homage to her grandmother, Mary Porter. Every element of Le Portier is designed with this in mind, and is a kind of thank you from the American football player to the woman who made his success a possibility by never ceasing to encourage him.
“A lot of my inspiration in my life has come from people who have supported me, places I’ve been and people I’ve met through professional football,” Sharpe said. “I started thinking, what if I could share that feeling of connection and conversation with friends, even the world ?”
The brandy is scheduled to go on sale in 2022, priced at $84.99.
