What better way to represent France to the world than the oldest champagne house? Ruinart is a member of the Colbert Committee to help promote French luxury.
The aim of the Colbert Committee is to promote French luxury throughout the world. Among the prestigious members of the committee are the houses of Cartier, Perrier Jouet, Lanvin and Dalloyau, to name but a few. A jewel of French savoir-faire, drawing on its rich past to pave its way into the future, Ruinart embodies the idea of modern and conscious luxury, values dear to the Colbert Committee.
“We are delighted to join the Houses of Excellence that make up the Colbert Committee, and to contribute to defining together a vision for the future of the luxury industry. This affirms our conviction that collective intelligence allows us to face tomorrow’s challenges with greater strength and creativity,” announced Frédéric Dufour, president of Ruinart.

Ruinart shares with the Comité Colbert and its members a transversal approach. Indeed, both appreciate and value the sharing of ideas, particularly around training, sustainable development, intellectual property, and the defense of the specificities of luxury companies, this major sector of the French industry.
“The arrival of these new prestigious members within the Comité Colbert is a sign of the attractiveness of our association, the relevance of its actions and its influence. Welcoming an old house like Ruinart and a more recent creation like Christian Louboutin testifies to the dynamism and the constantly renewed creativity of our collective” explains Bénédicte Epinay, general delegate of the Comité Colbert in a press release.
