Emilio Pucci will unveil the first creations of its new creative director Camille Miceli on April 29 in Capri. The Italian house thus confirms its reboot as a brand inspired by resort wear.
With the arrival of Miceli last September, the Florentine house, which has not had an artistic director since 2017, had declared that it was beginning “a new chapter in the history of the house” .
It should be remembered that the French luxury group LVMH acquired the Italian brand Emilio Pucci in June 2021, while it previously owned 67% of the firm since 2002.
And this acquisition marks a new turning point for the brand created by Marquis Emilio Pucci, who in the 1950s caused a real fashion phenomenon with the creation of a revolutionary ski suit. The free-spirited and brightly colored cruisewear seems to be part of the DNA of the house that was adored by Marilyn Monroe, Madonna or Nicole Kidman.
Note that this announcement was made while the cruise shows seem to return gradually in the fashion calendar. Gucci has booked its May 16th for a mixed fashion show to be held somewhere in Europe.
