DFF and Richemont join forces to develop luxury retailing

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has partnered with Swiss luxury group Richemont to launch and develop new solutions for startups in the luxury retail sector.

This initiative should encourage startups to participate in a special challenge to use the latest innovations and technologies to provide a unique innovative experience for customers of luxury brands.

This challenge will benefit both the customer and Richemont. Indeed, the customer experience of the luxury boutiques will be rethought and will help Richemont to use the latest technologies to analyze data, study customer behavior and improve communication via conventional and digital channels, using innovative methods.

The innovative solutions that will be developed as a result of this project will have to address several issues. In order to improve the level of customer shopping experiences, the solutions will contribute to meeting customers’ needs according to their preferences, to developing marketing and sales strategies and to increasing their revenues in the short and long term.

This project is part of the Future of Luxury Retail startup program organized by DFF’s Dubai Future Accelerators initiative in partnership with Richemont Middle East, India, and Africa. It will provide an opportunity for global companies, entrepreneurs, and startups to share their ideas for innovations and solutions to advance the retail sector.

The Future of Luxury Retail Challenge is part of the Dubai Future Foundation’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private sector at local, regional and global levels and to provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators to launch new technology solutions from Dubai,” said Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, deputy director general of the Dubai Future Foundation.

Pierre Fayard, Chief Executive Officer of Richemont MEIA, said: “We are proud to partner with the Dubai Future Foundation to launch this unique initiative in Dubai, which is considered one of the world’s leading commercial, retail and shopping hubs and a preferred destination for customers seeking a luxury retail experience.

Unveiled on March 21st, 2022, the Future of Luxury Retail Challenge will close on April 26th, 2022, the deadline for startups and entrepreneurs to apply and participate in the project.
