David Greenberg appointed head of L’Oréal USA

David Greenberg has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal USA, President of the North American Zone and member of the Group Executive Committee, effective immediately. David Greenberg succeeds Stéphane Rinderknech who has decided to develop his career outside the L’Oréal group.

 

Prior to this promotion, David Greenberg was President of the Professional Products Division in North America, where he brought his experience and expertise to develop the business model of this division.

 

 

David Greenberg has worked for over 28 years at L’Oréal in senior management positions, including eight years as President of Maybelline, Garnier and Essie in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oréal USA mit firma. He also led L’Oréal Paris brand marketing for another six years.

 

Nicolas Hieronimus, Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal, commented : “I have known David for many years. David was one of the architects of L’Oréal’s conquest of the US market leadership, and he leads the businesses under his responsibility with the same entrepreneurial and competitive spirit. North America is one of our strongest growth engines and David is the right person to take our team and our business to new heights.”

Currently, David Greenberg serves on the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC), the leading trade association representing the cosmetics industry in the United States, and on the Industry Advisory Board of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) School of Graduate Studies in Cosmetics & Fragrance Marketing & Management.
