While Christophe Thomas’ first steps as Managing Director of the Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris had been prematurely interrupted by the confinement in France, on 12 June the doors of the Palace Parisien reopened to the public allowing the new Managing Director to resume service.

A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree from the Lycée Hôtelier in Strasbourg, Christophe Thomas has proven himself during a brilliant international career spanning Europe, South America, the Caribbean and then the United States for 20 years.

It is at the head of the Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris, the unmissable meeting place for artists and writers in the Roaring Twenties, that we find him, ever more animated by the art of hospitality and excellence.

“It is a challenge that I intend to take up with passion and sincerity alongside my teams. I wish to enable the Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris to shine on the Parisian scene with grace, energy and authenticity, to offer our customers an exceptional service in a permanent artistic bubbling: creation, culture and escape”, he assured.

The Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris is one of the world-renowned addresses of the luxury hotel brand Raffles Hotels & Resorts, which is now part of the Accor group, the world leader in augmented hospitality.

A prime location in a Palace that embodies the Parisian je-ne-sais-quoi where art is omnipresent. The Concierge Art Service, the Art Bookshop, the Art Gallery and the Private Cinema make it a privileged place, as do the 149 rooms and suites, including 3 private apartments.

Located nearby the Arc de Triomphe and the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, this contemporary-styled palace also has the Spa My Blend by Clarins and a rich culinary offering with two restaurants: “Matsuhisa Paris” dedicated to Japanese cuisine and “Il Carpaccio”, a restaurant with an Italian touch. Not to be missed: breakfasts and brunches at La Cuisine restaurant, as well as the unique creations of French Pastry Chef Pierre Hermé.
