If wine can seem boring in some ways, Charles and César have the ambition to dust it off and make it adopted by the young generation.
Charles & César are two brothers with a passion for wine. Together, they created their company at the beginning of 2020 in Bordeaux. Their ambition? Offer qualitative wines with a very modern approach. What’s more? They only sell products that are committed to an environmental approach (HVE 3, Biodynamics…).
Their research has given rise to four ranges, two of which have been named “Prêts à servir” and “Beaux Parleurs“. “With this range, the objective is to recruit young people by offering a universe that speaks to them without cutting back on quality,” explains Charles Larraqué. No visible appellation, no chateau name, sobriety and elegance are the order of the day for these references that are meant to be accessible and without fuss. With HVE and AOP Bordeaux certification, the range is available in red wine, dry white wine, sweet white wine and rosé.

Until now offered in classic corking, the company wanted to go all the way by switching the entire “Beaux Parleurs” range to screw corking at the beginning of 2022. “This meets the need for immediacy of young consumers” says Charles Larraqué “We thought about it from the launch but were waiting for the right technology to do it.”
Charles & César also wants to be disruptive on the packaging and continues to innovate in the field of Bag-in-box. The latter consists of a mini wine fountain with a capacity equivalent to a bottle and surrounded by an elegant sleeve. “This format is intended to offer consumers the opportunity to drink a great wine in several times without having to worry about spoiling part of the wine,” explain the two brothers. Three renowned chateau owners were immediately seduced by this idea. Jean Guyon (Rollan de By) but also those of Château Fonréaud (AOC Listrac-Médoc) and Château Ferrand (Pomerol). The range is called “Les Grands Vins au Verre” which explains well the concept.
