The company Loki has designed a “basecamp” version of Tesla‘s Cybertruck. Available for pre-order, this “special” edition has provided luxurious stainless steel-covered accommodation in the back of the pick-up.

The Cybertruck is a pickup truck that Tesla will unveil in November 2019. With its futuristic and atypical look, it stands out from other competing vehicles thanks to its original design. Having already reached one million pre-orders, the first models should be produced by the end of the year.
Available in several versions, such as one capable of tracking a caravan, Loki has added its own version of the vehicle,to the range. With a greater autonomy, LWith greater autonomy, Loki offers you the opportunity to live inside.
Details on the characteristics of the “Basecamp
Within the pick-up, four areas will be dedicated to the changing room, relaxation, kitchen and rest.
The first area has been designed to accommodate a removable shower and a rail-mounted drying system. However, it can be converted into additional seating or a work surface.
The second area, dedicated to relaxation, is composed of a table, several seats, storage space and a portable toilet. Also, an extra bed and a storage platform can be added.
The third part of this improved version of the pick-up is a kitchen area with a sink, refrigerator and induction hob and plenty of storage space.
Finally, the last part of the Basecamp houses a queen size bed and reading lamps, which can be converted into storage space. Importantly, the module is insulated and also has heating, air conditioning and lighting systems.
Priced at $135,000 (about €111,000), the Cybertruck “Basecamp” will only be available in the second quarter of 2022, starting its production phase by the end of 2021. However, its modules can be reserved by paying a deposit of $10,000.
With hand-built modules, buyers will be able to choose to customise their vehicle, choosing from a range of options to suit their tastes and needs. Loki has said of the project that the products are “a combination of modern engineering and high-level craftsmanship“.
