Balenciaga opens its first airport shop

The brand Balenciaga has just opened a boutique in an airport, more precisely in Schiphol, in the Netherlands. This is the brand’s first shop in a European airport.

With the opening of this new shop, Balenciaga now has two shops in the Netherlands. Indeed, the House has a branch in the city of Amsterdam.

Schiphol Airport is the main airport in the Netherlands and one of the busiest in Europe. At this airport, many luxury brands already answer the call, such as Bvlgari, Gucci, Hermès, Bottega Veneta and Rolex. The Spanish House of Balenciaga has now been added to this long list.

The design of the shop is inspired by the concept of “Raw Architecture”, a shop concept reminiscent of a building site under construction. The extensive use of concrete and the appearance of unfinished and dilapidated walls create an industrial atmosphere lea aquí.
