ISRA, a reference in the design of smart cards and personalized media dedicated to the identification of objects, joins the Arianee group to collaborate on the Saas platform, and in particular on new technology for NFC chips.
ISRA joins the Arianee consortium to collaborate on new technology for NFC tags, in order to make them forgery-proof. This process is organized with the integration of a private key, allowing them to authenticate blockchain transactions. The release is scheduled for 2022.
“We are delighted to join the Arianee consortium. This partnership reflects our willingness to collaborate with companies that share our vision for innovation. Arianee is a preferred partner for fashion and luxury brands. We look forward to bringing more traceability to their partner brands,” says ISRA CEO Jean-Pierre Chauvin.
To combat counterfeiting, the Arianee consortium, which specializes in digital certification, announced its partnership with ISRA on April 28, 2021. The two groups hope to offer luxury brands state-of-the-art NFC chips to trace the real origin of products and verify their authenticity.
“We are more than delighted to welcome ISRA to the Arianee consortium. The specificity of their unforgeable cryptographic NFC tag is an innovation in high demand in the fashion and luxury industries, which makes them a strategic partner for us“, explains Arianee‘s CEO, Pierre Nicolas Hurstel.
This partnership comes at a time when the sector’s needs are growing to connect the physical to the digital through a digital passport (NFT). In concrete terms, when a customer goes to buy a product from a brand that uses Arianee‘s technology, they will receive a unique digital passport directly, which contains all the information about the purchased product on their smartphone.
“We are very proud to join Arianee to be able to provide dedicated cryptographic blockchain and 100% secure NFC tags for the luxury and fashion industry. Being able to merge at very deep cryptographic levels these two technology bricks is a key achievement to improve data protection and traceability. The next step will be to embed the crypto capabilities into the silicon of the NFC chip,” says ISRA CTO Carloman Grelu.
If the customer wants to resell the purchased product, he can then provide the new buyer with a guarantee of the authenticity of the product sold. The brand, on the other hand, can track the transactions of its products. The NFC tags are unique and contain a self–generated certificate whose information is verified by the blockchain servers, so the customer can get real-time information about his product.
“Thanks to this new generation of NFC tag, ISRA will connect the blockchain to the real world, which makes us very proud to announce this new partnership,” says Julien Romanetto, co-founder and chief innovation officer at Arianee.
