Accor opens Raffles hotel in Barhein

The French hotel group Accor will open a hotel in Barhein through its luxury subsidiary Raffles.

Accor has announced that the luxury Al Areen Palace and Spa will become the first Raffles brand hotel in Barhein and will therefore join its collection of 14 properties worldwide.

Bahrain has begun its transformation about tourist and aims to bring more customers as shown by the increase in the hotel number in the country: from 17,000 rooms available in 2015, the number has increased to 20000 in 2018 according to Bahrain Tourism & Exhibition Authority.

Moreover on the first quarter of 2019, the number of tourists increased by 3.1% compared to the previous year.
