Tiffany & Co presents today the film of its brand new campaign “About Love” featuring the couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
“Moon River” the song made famous by Breakfast at Tiffany’s and performed by Audrey Hepburn is covered by Beyoncé in this campaign, captured by Jay-Z with a super 8 camera.
In the campaign film, Beyoncé is seen wearing an assortment of incredibly rich diamond pieces, including the Tiffany diamond. The latter is considered one of the most important gemstones discovered in the 19th century and symbolizes the brand’s rich historical heritage. Icons of the house, such as the Jean Schlumberger designs and the Tiffany T collection, also appears in the film.
JAY-Z wears the legendary Bird on a Rock brooch by Jean Schlumberger (known for dressing the high society elite in the 1960s and 1970s). It has been reimagined as a pair of cufflinks by the house’s artisans.
The setting for the film is none other than The Orum House in Los Angeles, where nostalgic flashbacks intermingle with cinematic and dreamlike images. Chosen by the couple and designed by architect Zoltan Pali, the three-story, 18,800-square-foot house floats above the surrounding Bel Air landscape.
The campaign, a collaboration between the couple and Tiffany & Co, presents a raw film, capturing their indescribable chemistry through stolen moments of intimacy. Between nostalgia and reunion, a bond that has transcended space and time for nearly 20 years.
As part of the House’s collaboration with the Carters, Tiffany & Co. has partnered with BeyGOOD and the Shawn Carter Foundation to create the Tiffany & Co. “About Love Scholarship Program.” The scholarship will be awarded to five small private schools, as well as several public schools.
