The SLF (Sustainable Leather Forum) returns for a new edition on September 11th, still within the walls of the sumptuous Palais Brongniart.

Organized by the Conseil National du Cuir, the SLF is now one of the key events in the leather industry. After four successful editions, bringing together dozens of speakers – professionals from the leather, fashion, luxury and design industries, industry experts, public and economic figures – the SLF is back with even more ideas to prepare for the future.

The SLF aims to discuss the major challenges facing the leather industry and its positioning in terms of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

This 2023 edition will address a number of themes including sourcing, eco-responsibility, manufacturing and reparability.

Like the previous ones, the 5th edition will be organized in the form of round tables, conferences and keynotes.

The complete program has not yet been revealed, but it promises to be rich in speakers and information.

Guests will be able to attend round tables on the themes of “CSR, a real cog in the watchband industry”, “Innovation in soft materials and alternatives to petroleum-based plastics” or “Circular fashion: the preferred repair”.

A committed previous edition

Last year, the SLF brought together some thirty speakers, all specialized in different fields.

The topics discussed were very diverse and varied. One round table dealt with leather in the automotive industry, another with eco-responsibility in the fashion industry, and yet another with different CSR approaches in the industry.

What’s new? About fifteen exhibitors were present, including your magazine Luxus Plus.
