Jacquemus X Tekla: a collaboration that makes us sleep well

Simon Porte Jacquemus joins forces with Danish homewear brand Tekla for one of the most stylish collaborations of the end of the year. Between comfort and sandy colors, this collection is to fall on the ground or … to sleep.

After having realized a fashion and colorful collaboration with Nike and having opened a boutique on the famous Avenue Montaigne, Jacquemus still has not finished surprising us. The designer signed a capsule with the Danish brand Tekla, leader of Danish homewear.

If this Scandinavian-sounding name doesn’t ring a bell today, you’ll soon remember it.  Founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, Tekla has become in a short time the reference of homewear in the Nordic countries.

Enough to bring out the hygge that slumbers on the hexagon. This Danish expression, well known in Scandinavian countries, means creating a cocooning universe. And this is exactly what Jacquemus and Tekla have managed to do.

This collaboration between our two brands came naturally and spontaneously. I’ve always dreamed of developing a bedding and homewear line. With Tekla, it was the perfect fit. I am a big fan of the brand and I feel that we share the same universe and the same inspirations” says Jacquemus.

On the agenda? A bedspread, terry towels, night masks, a bathrobe, but also pieces inspired by nightwear like tops, shorts and pajama pants. All designed from 100% organic materials and 100% French linen. Brown, blue or beige, the pure and simple colors remind the French House and the warmth of Danish interiors.

This collaboration of Tekla with the famous French designer also has a visual identity, with removable details on all items such as co-branded “Tekla Jacquemus” labels.

This capsule collection was enhanced by the eye of Danish photographer Philip Messman during a shooting on a beach in Corsica.

When the sun of the south of France mixes with the coldness of Denmark, it gives the most trendy collaboration of this last month of the year, that all fashionistas hope to have under the tree.
