Jacob & Co opens its first store in Japan

In a few days, the Swiss luxury watchmaker will open its very first boutique in Japan, in the Ginza district.

The opening ceremony, scheduled for October 13, will be attended by the brand’s president and founder, Jacob Arabo.

The new Jacob & Co store, spread over one floor, adopts the brand’s visual identity and a black and white design concept. The ceiling features LED lighting with geometric lines and a large screen on the wall displays the brand’s latest campaign.

The store will house the entire Jacob & Co watch collection, including the Five Time Zone Watch, which simultaneously displays the time of five different countries.

The launch in the land of the rising sun is part of the watch brand’s international expansion plan. Benjamin Arabov, the brand’s CEO, said earlier this year that the company plans to double its presence abroad in the coming years.

Jacob & Co already has a presence in more than 30 countries and regions, including South Korea, India, Malaysia and Hong Kong and Singapore. Founded in 1986, the company continues to expand around the world.
