Marriott International announced today that it has signed an agreement with Bain Capital Credit and Omnam Group. The alliance aims to establish EDITION Hotels in Lake Como.

Owned and developed by Bain Capital and Omnam Group with Marriott International, the Lake Como EDITION is scheduled to open in 2025.

The hotel will be housed in a 19th century building on the left bank of the prestigious lake, a short drive from Milan.

It will feature 145 luxurious rooms, including two penthouse suites, a swimming pool and several restaurants and bars overlooking Lake Como, with stunning mountain views.

We are delighted to be working with Bain Capital Credit and Omnam Group to bring the EDITION Hotels brand to one of Italy’s most beautiful destinations,” said Josh Fluhr, vice president and general manager of Marriott Group.

David Zisser, CEO of Omnam, said: “We look forward to bringing Omnam’s flair to this unique location and celebrating the natural beauty of Lake Como. Together with Bain Capital Credit, we are thrilled to once again team up with Marriott International and bring this vision to life.”

The leader in luxury hotels

This new collaboration reinforces EDITION’s position as a leader in the luxury hotel industry. In doing so, it redefines the concept via its collection of unique hotels.

The group’s new “Italian jewel” strengthens Marriott International’s footprint across Europe, where the group already owns more than 719 properties.

The EDITION Hotels brand has been established worldwide in cities such as New York, London, Madrid, Tokyo and Shanghai.
