The leading manufacturer of boxes and displays for the luxury sector, organizes for the 9th year the edition of its design contest, with the theme, gifting. With your clicks, you have the power to vote for your favorite project!

For 9 years, Gainerie 91 has been offering its design competition to young students, with the aim of being a springboard for the world of luxury packaging.

For this 9th edition, Gainerie 91 proposes to focus on and revisit these famous small gift objects that make the luxury sector so special. Refined and differentiating, the gifts underline a particular occasion, recall the universe of the brand and hold the attention by their originality.

It is indeed an essential element in the communication strategy of any major House, which becomes a real and tangible extension of the experience offered by a brand to compensate for the increasing dematerialization of luxury services.

The idea of gifting is to be an object that we will keep and that will make us think of the brand. Unique and personalized, they aim to give a feeling of exclusivity and loyalty to the owner. The sectors concerned are jewelry, watches, wines and spirits, perfumery, cosmetics and small leather goods.

The “Dóro” project, by Marine and Paul, from Nantes, France, presents a set of cutlery and its leather carrying case. Designed to accompany you on your travels, your picnics and other lunches at the office. It reflects both the elegance and the know-how of the house of Hermès. It is made from leather scraps directly linked to the production site of the most prestigious bags of the emblematic brand.

“Pierre de Lave” Project – Anne-douceline, Valentin et Chloé © Gainerie 91

The project “Pierre de Lave“, by Anne-douceline, Valentin and Chloé is inspired by the know-how of the house of Cartier, which plays on the manipulation and detour of the object by creating a real “ritual” around its jewelry. The project consists of a small medal of 18 mm in diameter, which is attached to the buckle of the watch with a clip system. An original gift, this medal becomes a real sign, discreet but recognizable. The plus? Its surface is covered with lava stone and has absorbing properties. To benefit from it, you just have to put a few drops of your perfume on the medal, using a pipette, to diffuse its fragrance throughout the day.
