Six years after its last model, the Levante, Maserati presents Grecale, its new premium SUV available this year.
The new – and only second – Maserati SUV will be available in the second half of 2022, almost a year late when it was due to be launched last November. The global shortage of chips will have prevented the vehicle from being released in 2021.
As part of the brand’s turnaround strategy, this utility vehicle marks the expansion of the range. Three versions are planned: two four-cylinder mild hybrids with 300 and 330 hp, and a 530 hp V6 petrol high performance engine with a top speed of 285 km/h.
The all-electric version is due next year, and will compete with the likes of Tesla, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce. Indeed, Maserati aims to have a fully electric ‘Folgore‘ version of every model – including the €200,000-plus MC20 sports car – by 2025. By 2030, Maserati will be 100% electric.
This car will have a starting price of 74,000 to 111,000 euros schweiz-libido.com.
