The House of Gucci has announced the launch of its first ten NFTs in collaboration with Superplactic, an entertainment brand famous for creating and managing animated celebrities.

Dubbed SUPERGUCCI, the project is presented as a series of three NFTs that blend the world of Superplastic with the iconic Gucci designs. These very limited NFTs were created in collaboration with Gucci’s artistic director, Alessandro Michele.

In this collaboration, we find the two emblematic mascots of Superplastic, the rabbit Guggimonet and the cat Janky. These two characters are actually virtual artists that can be found on their social networks, notably Instagram and TikTok, but also in the video game Fortnite.

Each digital work (NFT) is accompanied by a physical work, a painted porcelain sculpture of SuperJanky, handmade by ceramists in Italy. There are a limited number of 500 pieces.

In the first installment, the character of SuperJanky finds himself in ten different fantasy scenarios inspired by Gucci Aria, a collection celebrating the House of Gucci’s centennial.

The collection launched on February 1st and is available on Superplastic via Gucci Vault, a House of Gucci platform for objects that defy the limits of time and space through the power of imagination.
