Luxury brands are getting more and more interested in the wonderful world of the web and now Fendi is getting more involved by developing a wallet for crypto-currencies with Ledger.

Ledger is a French startup that designs and markets physical crypto-currency wallets for individuals and businesses. And it is with Fendi that the group has decided to partner to offer “hard wallet“. This is a device that works as a kind of safe to store your crypto-currencies safely. Usually taking the form of a USB key or a smart card, this hardware wallet has the function of backing up your private keys offline, making your crypto-currencies perfectly tamper-proof against any remote theft attempt.

The Fendi x Ledger collection was unveiled at the Milan Fashion-Week 2022-2023 Men’s show on January 15, and it picks up on the inspirations of the show. Indeed, the first design is a reminder of their famous “Baguette” bag that is found in a miniature version, made of polished aluminum with rivets and buckles in relief. The object opens, revealing a pocket where you can slip your Ledger Nano X without worries.

The second is reminiscent of the Fendi “O’Lock” chain in the form of a capsule with an embossed FF monogram frame and a hidden hinge that can open and close. Both designs have a rotating hook that allows you to attach it to a bag, belt, or other object with an adjustable cord, allowing you to keep your hard-wallet close and secure. If polished aluminum alone isn’t enough for you, you can add leather inserts, gold plating, or the added shine of cubic zirconia in the near future.

Through this pioneering union, Fendi and Ledger recognize the infinite possibilities offered by Web 3.0 and the Metaverse, inaugurating, through a new generation of luxury and craftsmanship this bridge between the physical and virtual worlds,” says Ledger Group. “Acknowledging the creative spirit of the crypto community, these first pieces offer a glimpse of a near future, where digital memories and collectibles coexist with tangible art objects.” These accessories for the Ledger Nano X are expected to be available for purchase on Fendi’s website in early June 2022.
