LVMH reveals “The Story Behind ME” series, combining know-how and transmission

The LVMH group is presenting the exclusive series “The Story Behind ME” on its social networks. This series lifts the mystery on the talents behind the scenes but who work with love and passion within the LVMH Houses.

 

The “Story Behind ME” series meets the men and women who contribute every day to the desirability and longevity of the creations of the LVMH luxury group’s Houses.

“In the succession of three stories that form a single one, we discover the face, the intelligence, the eye, the hands, the sensitivity of women and men who pass on from generation to generation, from one profession to another, the passion for beauty, for what stands the test of time, the passion for various skills so patiently acquired, optimised that they become an art…”, says the LVMH group.

 

Each of them is the custodian of one of the 280 Professions of Excellence present within the LVMH group. Whether we are talking about creation, craftsmanship or sales, they all contribute to the fact that these “products are not just products, but products with a soul.

 

The Institut des Métiers d’Excellence offers training in creation, craftsmanship and customer experience to the younger generation and to people undergoing retraining, thus promoting professional integration within the group.

 

The first episode reveals several facets of an emblematic piece of the House of Bulgari, the Serpenti necklace, through the eyes of three experts: Lucia Silvestri, Creative Director, Massimo di Valentini, Director of the Prototyping and Fine Jewellery Workshop, and Sergio Scudellari, Senior Salesman.

 

In this second episode, Marco de Vincenzo, Leather Product Designer, Alessia Facchin, Assembly and Finishing Manager, and Xia Jie, Sales Advisor, reveal the iconic Peekaboo bag by Fendi.
