Patek Philippe watch in collaboration with Tiffany & Co sold for over $6.5 million

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 in association with Tiffany sold for over $6.5 million at Phillips in New York.

Patek Philippe has partnered with American jeweler Tiffany & Co to produce an exclusive version of its flagship model “Nautilus“. Although it is no longer produced since January 2021, it seems that the brand is playing the prolongation with some prestigious collaborations. The model, edited by the 2 houses, will only be available in Tiffany boutiques distributing Patek Philippe in New York, Beverly Hills and San Francisco in only 170 pieces.

In New York, the Patek Philippe with its Tiffany & Co. dial was auctioned for $5,350,000, for a total price of $6,503,000. This was a last-minute addition to the Philipps auction, with all proceeds going to the Nature Conservancy. Officially the first to go on the market, the watch quickly surpassed its humble estimate of $50,000 before soaring into the six figures. The impressive price of $3.5 million continued to rise until the hammer fell at $5.35 million for a buyer from New York.

It was the first live watch auction held by Phillips in New York in two years, and the first of 170 watches to be sold worldwide. The other 169 Nautilus models should please collectors and aficionados of original timepieces.
