[Luxus+ Magazine] Cointreau partners with The Tropicool Company for a colorful limited edition

HyperFocal: 0

This year, Cointreau pays homage to the original Margarita and dresses in colors with the collective The Tropicool Company.

Cointreau continues to combine tradition and modernity by entrusting the reinterpretation of its bottle to inspired artists. Skillfully combining color and pop design, this new graphic limited edition goes back to the origins of the Margarita.

The story of the margarita begins in 1948, in Acapulco, then very popular with the jet set and frequented by the gotha of the time. Margaret “Margarita” Sames, a rich American socialite, was known for organizing lavish parties. It was for one of her majestic parties that she sought an original cocktail creation combining her two favorite spirits: Cointreau liqueur and Tequila. After a few tries, she added lime juice and a light frosting of salt to this new cocktail of her invention. She invented the Original Cointreau Margarita.
