The 5 star hotel La Sivolière in Courchevel in Savoie offers a brand new service for our fury friends.

La Sivolière, a luxury hotel located in Courchevel in Savoie, offers its wealthy guests a Dog Silvo package at 4,620 euros. On the agenda for your doggie’s stay: a small bed, tasting of menus concocted by the hotel’s restaurant and, as an option, a photo session and a party in their honor.

La Sivolière, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is banking on originality with this new proposal. Florence Carcassonne, the manager of the establishment, intends to “build loyalty among her clients who have dogs” thanks to this original formula.

The animals are welcomed with great fanfare and can stay four nights in one of the 35 apartments or rooms alongside their owners. Here, they don’t sleep on carpets or in simple baskets but have their own “bed matched to the double curtain“, explains Florence Carcassonne. While their owners enjoy the ski slopes, the dogs are looked after by a dog-sitter.

Among the options are the Harcourt studio photo session at 350 euros, an appointment with a groomer or osteopathic care. But that’s not all, for 935 euros, the hotel team organizes a party for your pet with his four-legged friends where he can enjoy a personalized cake, why not in the effigy of his favorite toy. He will also be treated to petits fours and even “champagne”, meaning apple juice. Eventually, part of the profits will be donated to the SPA.

A new formula that will appeal to dog owners who want to take care of their pets and pamper them during their stay in Courchevel. “The French and Americans always come with their dogs. Some establishments in Courchevel refuse them” explains Florence Carcassonne who sees in this initiative the opportunity to stand out from her competitors.
