Dior to design PSG’s official wardrobe

Dior and Paris Saint-Germain kick off a two-year partnership. The haute-couture house will indeed dress the Parisians, and thus enters the world of sports for the first time in its history.

Paris Saint-Germain made official this Monday this partnership with the house Christian Dior for the next two years. The luxury brand will create the official wardrobe of the Parisian Club during this collaboration period, in addition to dressing the team itself. Kim Jones, artistic director of Dior’s men’s collections, will propose, on the occasion of this new collaboration for the House, new creations for the PSG.

To mark the occasion of this collaboration, the star players of Paris Saint-Germain have inaugurated the outfits made by the House. We find on Neymar, Marco Verratti or Sergio Ramos a cashmere coat, a jacket, a shirt and pants, but also a pair of black leather derbies Dior Timeless. A little special feature: the number of the players on the field will be engraved on the sole of the shoe.

The alternative outfit, more casual, consists of a Harrington jacket, a sweater and a knit polo shirt, all embellished with an embroidered patch “Paris Saint-Germain” and punctuated with the Dior Oblique symbol.

PSG footballers, joined this season by Lionel Messi, had been dressed since 2014 by Hugo Boss. The Argentine player seems to be a seductive factor for the partners, which will become more and more numerous in the coming weeks.
