The largest superyacht in the world offers its apartments for sale

A $600 million superyacht will sell its 39 luxury apartments. Starting price for an apartment: 9.5 million dollars!

Private boats are not available to everyone. Living on them permanently is even less so. But today, wealthy house hunters will now have the opportunity to own a share of what will be the largest superyacht ever built.

The boat, called Somnio, will measure 220 meters, more than 40 meters longer than Azzam, which currently holds the record for the world’s largest boat. It is owned by the Abu Dhabi royal family.

“Establishing contacts within a community”

The superyacht will offer “the privacy of a private yacht and the opportunity to network within a vibrant community of like-minded owners,” said investors in the €500 million project.

Aboard the yacht, residents collectively decide on the year’s itinerary. In addition, they will have a wine cellar with a capacity of 10,000 bottles, a beach club and can attend lectures by scientists using on-board equipment to study the sea floor.

The project is led by Carl Le Souef, the American millionaire who founded the company Private Formula International, and who now heads the sustainable technology group Somnio Global. Construction is currently underway.
