Versace Home has been appointed by Dar Al Arkan, Saudi Arabia’s leading real estate company, to design the interiors of the very first villas in the Kingdom’s Shams Ar Riyadh project.

“We couldn’t be prouder to partner with such a world-renowned brand as Versace on this unique project. The fact that a design house of such high calibre has created the interiors of these very special homes embodies the high standard of luxury living we aspire to with Shams Ar Riyadh. “Mr. Yousef Bin Abdullah Al Shalash, Chairman of Dar Al Arkan, said of the collaboration.

As a reminder, the Shams Al Riyadh project proposes the construction of a luxury neighbourhood. The project includes commercial and residential spaces, equipped with the best facilities for an exclusive lifestyle. It is located in a strategic area in the north of Riyadh, on King Khalid Road, and covers an area of over 5 million square metres. A first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The limited edition luxury villas are built overlooking Wadi Hanifa’s historic and natural setting, and therefore offer easy access to the city’s main attractions and landmarks. In addition, Wadi Hanifa’s sumptuous landscapes, among its parks and open spaces, provide an exceptional yet comfortable atmosphere for families.

“At Dar Al Arkan, our ambition is to elevate the real estate market in Saudi Arabia. Our close relationship with leading international designers will help us achieve this goal and cement the Kingdom’s growing reputation for exceptional architecture and design on a global scale. “continued Mr. Yousef Bin Abdullah Al Shalash.

Upside Living” by Versace Home

The focus will be on creating luxury and sophistication in every detail of the villas. And what better choice than Versace Home to illuminate and enhance the design of these interiors? The brand’s exceptional design and craftsmanship will reinforce the extraordinary “Upside Living” concept of the project.

Mixing ancient with modern, mythology with Pop Culture… this is the identity of Versace, whether in its high fashion or interior design collections. The company, founded in 1978 in Milan, has been involved in interior design since 1972, and has allowed its clients to transform their favourite rooms into a temple of Italian luxury.

Each creation, whether furniture or decoration, is designed by experts and craftsmen in high-end materials such as leather, velvet, marble or patterned jacquard.

This glittering universe also owes its existence to its artistic director, Donatella Versace, who transforms everything she touches into gold and claims opulence and excess through masterpieces of antiquity mixed with more than brilliant pieces.

Luxury and high technology

The villas are equipped with the latest technology to offer smarter living, setting a new benchmark in residential technology.

For example, lighting, heating and air conditioning will be controlled by motion sensors to provide an enhanced and ambient lifestyle.

Also, the villas will have a sophisticated security and surveillance system, as well as an intelligent entertainment system including a home cinema and smart kitchen appliances.

“Shams Ar Riyadh is a model of a smart residential neighbourhood. It is integrated with advanced audio-visual communication services linking building and property management systems through a single network, enabling a variety of high-speed services via the Internet such as unified communications, wireless solutions and security and monitoring systems for security, heating, cooling, lighting and fire suppression. This functionality allows residents of the neighbourhood to program equipment and control the operation of cooling and lighting,” according to the real estate company’s website.
