French hotel group Chevalblanc and Milanese restaurant chain Langosteria announced their impending alliance in a statement released this morning.
The Langosteria restaurants will soon be opening in Paris, the first time they have opened outside Italy. The group, born in Milan, specializes in fine Italian cuisine and seafood. The restaurant will be located across from the Seine on the seventh floor of Cheval Blanc, the new luxury hotel owned by LVMH. The brand will open its doors sometime in 2021, and the Langosteria restaurant will enjoy a rooftop vegetated terrace.
The Cheval Blanc hotel, just a few steps from the Louvre Museum and the Marais district, already promises an intimate atmosphere, and will only offer a total of 72 rooms and suites. The palace had already announced the presence of gourmet chef Arnaud Donckele and pastry chef Maxime Frédéric genericforgreece.com. It goes without saying that, as soon as it opens, the address will shine with its culinary excellence.
“This meeting is an obvious choice: Langosteria will bring to Parisians their second favorite cuisine, the one that comes from Italy, seasoned with excellence, elegance, and natural sophistication,” says Olivier Lefebvre, CEO of Maisons Cheval Blanc.
For Langosteria, this location is the first of many and a sign of the Italian restaurant chain’s desire to open up to the world. The group aspires to continue in this vein and hopes to establish itself as the benchmark for Italian Haute-gastronomy in Paris.
“I am happy about this new project in Paris, the city where I dreamed up the first Langosteria in 2007. It’s a new and exciting challenge that we are taking on by bringing the flavors of our cuisine to Paris,” emphasizes Enrico Buonocore, Langosteria‘s CEO, and founder.
