By Terry calls on Widen to accelerate its digital migration

The high-end make-up and cosmetics brand By Terry has entered into a partnership with the American company Widen to accelerate its transition to digital.

The By Terry brand specializes in award-winning luxury makeup, skincare, and fragrances. Founded by Terry of Gunzburg, By Terry‘s products infuse skincare ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid and rose, into luxury makeup formulas to complement the complexion.

Digital asset management technology provider Widen announced that high-end makeup and cosmetics brand By Terry has chosen Widen to assist with its digital asset management. As part of the partnership, By Terry will have access to Widen’s digital asset management software, the Widen Collective, to accelerate and expand the digital reach of the cosmetics brand.

By Terry‘s strategic decision to digitally transform its technology and processes is timely, with market growth estimated at nearly $80.5 billion by 2024. Operating in 40 countries, beauty expert By Terry was looking for a solution to manage its digital assets to accelerate the company’s digital transformation and improve internal organizational processes.

Previously, By Terry had been using a local server to manage its digital assets, including photos, videos, banners, and graphics, but this had drawbacks: it was difficult to manage and find the right version of an asset, and remote teams could not access the local server.

Three years ago, we started digitizing the company. We accelerated By Terry’s online presence through our website, and also through online retailers, but we also needed to transform the way we work, from new product development and marketing to operations, to equip our team with new tools to accelerate this transformation in line with the expectations of our new partners,” said Marion Assuied, CEO of By Terry.
