Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini has teamed up with New York-based audio company Master & Dynamic to unveil its new collection of luxury wireless headphones and headsets available from 371 euros.
Like many brands in the luxury industry, the luxury car manufacturer is in turn launching into the latest sound and technology trends.
Following the example of Louis Vuitton, Lamborghini is unveiling a collection of wireless accessories consisting of a headband headset called the Master & Dynamic MW65, with external noise suppression, and wireless headphones, the MW07 PLUS True Wireless, inspired by the design of the brand’s iconic supersports cars.
But unlike Louis Vuitton, which had unveiled its own wireless headphones at a price of 1000 euros, Lamborghini wants to enter this market with affordable prices, in order to align itself with market prices, contrary to its current very luxurious and relatively expensive image. The wireless headphones will therefore be available at a price of 371 euros, and the headphones at 571 euros.
This is a challenge that the Italian manufacturer has decided to take up.
Dominated in particular by Apple‘s famous Airpods, the market for wireless headphones is very difficult to integrate and make its place in today’s market, due to the many brands challenging the competition by offering low-cost wireless accessories. As for example with the recent Huawei FreeBuds Pro, high-end earphones at a very attractive price.
Lamborghini’s new sound collection offers its fans a wireless headset MW65, including Bluetooth 5.0, 24-hour battery life, and ANC (active noise reduction), as well as different variants and materials, including Alcantara, an artificial leather.
The MW07 PLUS True Wireless earphones, available in different colours, have a 40-hour battery life, a stainless steel charging case and are also equipped with 10mm beryllium membranes.
The two famous brands have set themselves the goal of being able to create sound accessories using the same design codes as for the manufacturer’s luxury cars.
“The first time I saw a Miura, I was literally flabbergasted. That same feeling and that same incredible thrill of emotion comes back to me every time I see a Lamborghini. With Master & Dynamic, my intention has always been precisely to create something capable of provoking such a profound reaction.” said Jonathan Levine, founder and CEO of Master&Dynamic.
