American giant Amazon has announced the September 15th the launch of a new feature for Amazon Prime subscribers, called Amazon Luxury Stores.

Amazon announced the implantation of a brand new luxury section on the mobile app, available on invitation and only to be used by Amazon Prime US members.

For unknown reasons, this feature is only accessible on the mobile app. Jeff Bezos’s company is seeking to expand his fashion offers beyond fast-fashion brands that are already included in his platform.

Luxury Stores gives the opportunity to luxury brands to develop a microsite inside Amazon, without tarnishing their image.

They will have the freedom to make decisions on their products, independently from Amazon.

Some presentation tools will be proposed, and among these tools, an interactive 360° view will allow to show each piece under various sizes and designs, and will provide different shapes and skin colors.

Amazon Luxury Stores should add many luxury homes in its potential “in weeks and seasons to go”.

The first luxury brand to open its doors to the e-commerce platform will be Oscar de la Renta, who will present his new fragrance and his Pre-fall and Fall-Winter 2020 collections.

Some points are still to elucidate about the Luxury Stores offer by Amazon, but this audacious new choice may be promising.

When some luxury homes show an evident speed loss, Amazon is sacred the most valued brand in the world in 2020 by BrandZ, and its worth is estimated to 415,9 billions dollars.
