Hedi Slimane, Artistic Director of Celine, unveils a limited edition of necklaces representing the César statuette, in collaboration with the César Foundation.

Celine creates a bridge between art and jewellery with an exceptional pendant. A total of one hundred gilt and one hundred silver pieces.

Hedi Slimane pays tribute to the work of the sculptor César whose work is at the heart of the seventh art thanks to the compression of a car that became the famous statuette that, since 1976, rewards the world of cinema during the César Ceremony.

“As an artistic foundation, we have a mission to bring César’s works and spirit to life. It is very important for me to bring César’s work to a new audience, outside of museums and galleries, and not only to an art audience,” said Stéphanie Busuttil-Janssen, President of the César Foundation.

This individually numbered jewel is preserved in a case stamped with the artist’s signature.

A leading artist of the 1970s, César is a true source of inspiration for the artistic director of the Celine House. A beautiful encounter between art and jewellery, which once again affirms the house’s vision and its roots in the 1970s.
