The cosmetics and skin care giant unveiled its device called Perso at the high-tech Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2020, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.

Developed by L’Oréal’s Technology Incubator, Perso is only 16 cm high but offers innovative solutions to beauty lovers thanks to artificial intelligence and a four-step procedure.

First of all, the ModiFace mobile application offers a personalized skin analysis using artificial intelligence in order to assess in detail the skin of the user (or the user).

Then, using data from the Breezometer built into the device, Perso assesses the environmental conditions of the day, such as humidity, weather and UV index, which could affect the condition of the skin moje společnost.

In the third step, the user shares their care and product preferences with the application, before the final step, during which the device provides a personalized dose mixing a moisturizing treatment, a serum and an eye contour treatment.

The technology also adjusts the composition of the treatment according to the time of day, whether in the morning or in the evening.

The brand even claims that with frequent use, Perso’s intelligent platform will be able to recommend the most suitable mixes to its user.

Note that the device is not limited to moisturizers, Perso also makes mixes of foundations and lipstick.

L’Oréal plans to roll out the cosmetic functions a little later.

The device should be marketed in partnership with one of its major facial care brands in 2021.

“We know that personalization is based on information about your unique skin and personal preferences as well as your environment, and this technology takes all this into account,” commented Guive Balooch, in charge of L’Oréal’s Technology Incubator. “Perso uses artificial intelligence to optimize care and becomes more and more intelligent as you use it. “

Last year, the giant unveiled Color & Co, a personalized hair coloring experience allowing users to do their coloring at home.
