From December 2 to 5, 2019, the 18th flagship luxury travel industry event (ILTM) will be held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. A must-visit for professionals in the sector, this exhibition brings together the various players in luxury tourism, from customers to service providers and the media.

ILTM is a platform for bringing together professionals from the tourism and luxury travel sector. Every year, ILTM organizes a forum bringing together the best international buyers, media publishers and companies to exchange on the various new products and travel experiences.

As a real springboard, ILTM identifies “the right people, at the right time, in the right place and in the right atmosphere”.

The show is in high demand from buyers and must then make a selection, keeping only those with significant outgoing activity and a high net worth clientele.

The media, oriented towards luxury travel products and services or more generally the luxury sector, are also welcome at the show.

In order to facilitate the actions of the participants on the show and to develop their interest, ILTM has set up a consulting team as well as a sponsorship system. The show will also soon release an application to manage your agenda and develop your community.

During this 18th festival, ILTM offers a welcome reception, a forum for participants, scheduled meetings and a closing evening.

The emblematic Accor group will be present as it does every year. The hotel group owns 4,780 hotels in 100 countries, including economic, mid-range and luxury brands such as Fairmont, Pullman, Raffles and Sofitel.

The International Luxury Travel and Tourism Exhibition is also an opportunity for hotel groups to take stock of their annual results and announce their short- and medium-term projects.

In 2017, the Accor group made two important announcements: the completion of the renovation work on Raffles Singapore, which reopened last August, and the signing of a contract to open a second Raffles in Dubai in 2021.

In the 2018 edition, new exhibitors represented about 40% of all exhibitors. This year, British Virgin Islands is preparing for its comeback by making France a priority market.

In 2018, 80 countries were represented at the International Luxury Travel and Tourism Exhibition. 1,800 buyers and 1,880 exhibitors participated, with an increase of 9% and 7% respectively compared to 2017. The number of appointments made was also higher, with an increase of 9% compared to last year, or 72,000 appointments made. ILTM expects to welcome more than 5,000 participants in December 2019.
