OTB partners with Lectra to accelerate digital transformation

Lectra announced that the Italian fashion group OTB is adopting Kubix Link, Lectra’s intelligent and intuitive cloud platform, to optimize its business processes and ensure greater transparency in its supply chain.

OTB has been a partner of Lectra for many years.

For its portfolio of iconic brands – Diesel, Maison Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, Marni, Amiri, Paula Cademartori – and companies at the forefront of Staff International and Brave Kid technology, OTB wants to make product data more accessible to teams working together around the world to develop, produce and distribute its products.

To meet this challenge, the fashion group needed to accelerate the digital transformation of its entire supply chain.

It needed an innovative solution that could easily integrate with its existing information system already used by its various brands.

Our objective was to digitize our entire supply chain with a complete solution. The Kubix Link platform is ergonomic, easy to use and very effective at sharing data,” said Ubaldo Minelli, President and CEO of OTB.

Specially designed for the fashion industry, Kubix Link combines product lifecycle management (PLM), product information management (PIM) and digital resource management (DAM).

Although OTB’s primary needs have been PLM, the group can also benefit from Kubix Link’s PIM and DAM features and extend data sharing beyond the product development process, including all stages from creation to shelving.

For fashion companies, the challenge of initiating a successful digital transformation strategy lies in the ability to achieve full visibility into their supply chain.

In this context, we are very pleased to strengthen our relationship of more than 25 years with OTB. We initiated this new project 18 months ago, helping them to extend their digital transformation initiatives to all their brands. We already have more than 400 satisfied users working daily on the Kubix Link platform and we are ready to welcome new users,” said Daniel Harari, President and Chief Executive Officer, Lectra.

Kubix Link simplifies this transformation process by helping fashion companies integrate their existing information systems. With this all-in-one solution, they can manage all product information in a single application and transform data into actionable information.

This centralized and collaborative platform allows fashion companies to manage in real time all product information from multiple information systems.

From a single search on Kubix Link, users can find data much faster than by browsing different software systems, avoiding a long and fragmented search process. This extremely user-friendly and efficient platform allows data to be consolidated and shared very quickly.

A specialist in premium technologies that facilitate the digital transformation of fashion, automotive and home decoration companies, Lectra has 34 international subsidiaries and serves its customers in more than 100 countries. The company with 1,750 employees generated a turnover of €283 million in 2018 and is listed on Euronext (LSS).
