Adidas and Prada announce new partnership

Italian luxury house Prada and leading sportswear brand Adidas have joined forces to begin a series of collaborations.

The news was announced via the posting on the Instagram account of the Italian Luxury House of a photo (photo above) of two boxes of Adidas sneakers inserted into a bag marked Prada, accompanied by the hashtag #pradaforadidas.

 

Prada and Adidas will then launch two unisex sports shoes (sneakers type) in December 2019 and another pair in 2020, in connection with Prada’s participation in the America’s Cup (sailing).

 

Coming from the world of sport, transposed in the style of the street and translated today into luxury,  these limited edition models will be entirely made by Prada in Italy.

 

This new initiative is inspired by the rich heritage of both brands to reinvent timeless icons and takes advantage of the technological footprint of homes to innovate.

 

In fact, Adidas’ sporting heritage and visionary approach to technology development merge with Prada’s world-famous leather goods history and experience of luxury and quality, synonymous with the Made In Italy label. .
