Thanks to this new location, Hermes will be able to hire 250 craftsmen, all trained for 18 months by the leather goods artisans of Bogny-sur-Meuse, in a temporary workshop in Charleville-Mézières.

Investments of 10 million euros will have to be made in order to bring the new factory up to standard for Hermes. Since 2010, Hermes has opened 9 leather goods production site throughout France, which has enabled the hiring of more than 2100 artisans.

Other factories are expected to open in the coming years, in 2020 in Gironde and in 2021 in Seine-et-Marne and in Eure.
