Paris Fashion Week (September 23rd – October 1st) promises to be great and festive with many events scheduled on the sidelines of the fashion shows. Among them, the opening of an ephemeral space Fenty, from September 23 to October 12, at French department store Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées which opened its doors last March.
Redecorated in blue for the occasion, the Parisian department store will host a selection of creations from the first three launches of Fenty. The brand’s fourth ready-to-wear collection, scheduled for release on September 19, will also be featured on the Champs-Elysées.
While Fenty has already opened two ephemeral boutiques, one in the Marais district of Paris and another in New York, this is the very first time that the luxury brand has partnered with a department store. To date, the brand did not indicate whether Rihanna will be present for the inauguration of the pop-up store.
An accomplished businesswoman, Rihanna has become a true icon in the fashion world in just a few years. The singer is now the head of a cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, as well as her ready-to-wear house, Fenty.
