The Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona ends the year in style, with a Chanel fir tree in its entrance hall. It is the first Christmas tree created by the Chanel brand for a hotel in the world. This is the successful conclusion of this year, during which the school celebrates its 100th anniversary.

The sparkling snow-covered Christmas tree, decorated with a multitude of white, gold and red pastilles, sits in the legendary establishment until January 6, to the delight of its customers and visitors alike.

A fashionable and elegant attraction, with which the legendary 5-star Barcelona star will culminate in 2018, the year of its centenary, marked by many new features, including a new locavore restaurant – the SOLC – and the launch of two Miro experiences that will allow you to discover more intimately and exclusively the work of this artist whose career path is closely linked to the Majestic.

Dior dedicates a book to the work of Gianfranco Ferré

After Christian Dior himself, Yves Saint Laurent, and Marc Bohan, it was the turn of the Italian designer Gianfranco Ferré, artistic director of Dior from 1989 to 1996, to have a book published by the French company. The book highlights the style, creative sense and know-how of the Italian designer, and reviews his history with Dior.

The book looks back at Gianfranco Ferré’s career as artistic director of Dior, from his first haute couture collection unveiled in 1989 to his departure in 1996. In addition to his preferred style, which gives pride of place to boldness, exceptional materials, voluptuous cuts and colour, his common features with Christian Dior are also highlighted, including their taste for masculine-feminine, flowers and red hues.

Dior by Gianfranco Ferré – Editions Assouline – By Alexander Fury – Release on December 15 – Price: 195 euros
