Accor Live Limitless, the Accor group’s reservation platform and loyalty program, has become an Official Supporter of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Through this new partnership, the hotel group renews its commitment to major global sporting events.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL), the Accor Group‘s reservation platform and loyalty program, announced today that it has become an Official Supporter of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The 51-day tournament will kick off on September 8 in France, the Accor Group’s home country.

“ALL is extremely proud to support rugby’s most important competition on the occasion of the sport’s 200th anniversary”, the group said in a statement.

The 2023 Rugby World Cup is the biggest sporting event of the year in France. For the occasion, Accor will accommodate fans from around the world through its 1,600 hotels and 21 brands present in France.

(The event) will allow ALL.com to increase awareness of its hotel booking platform, highlight the benefits of its lifestyle loyalty program, and showcase all of (the group’s) hotel expertise”, Accor said.

Members of the program will be able to experience the rugby tournament using their points on the limitlessexperiences.accor.com website, and will benefit from special rates on Accor hotels by booking directly on ALL.com.

A dual partner

Accor is now a dual partner of the Rugby World Cup France 2023. Its subsidiary ResaEvents is already the official hotel reservation center for the competition.

ALL frequently supports major sporting events, and Accor is multiplying its associations with the world of sports: it is working with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, Roland-Garros, the French SailGP team, and the Accor Stadium in Sydney, which regularly hosts high-level matches, including international matches for the Australian rugby team.

Accor on the rise

Accor is itself well placed in the economic competition. Morgan Stanley yesterday raised its recommendation on the Accor group, with a price target raised from 35 to 37 euros. In a note, the U.S. bank said it considers the French group as a major potential beneficiary of the trend to the rise of luxury hotels.

Morgan Stanley believes that Accor should be a winner in the development of the “Luxury & Lifestyle” market, a segment “currently misunderstood and underestimated by investors”.

The American bank stresses that this market, which represents only 4% of rooms today, should eventually generate nearly 20% of the market thanks to its strong average revenue per available room (RevPAR).

On the stock market at around 11 a.m., the hotel group’s share price was up 0.36% to 30.69 euros.
