St-Tropez, right on time

Although little known in France, Charriol is well known in Asia and the Middle East. The Watches & Wonders show is a golden (or steel) opportunity for the watchmaker to gain a reputation in Europe and to unveil its new 2023 models, including the Navigator collection, to the precious and coveted world of watchmaking.

Last year, this large collection of watches and jewelry with a Provençal accent was a great success, prompting the brand to create a new line, called Navigator. A name linked to the fact that it was thought of for young and old travelers: “The Navigator collection is designed for the modern globetrotter: these are watches that follow the rhythm, on land, in the air and on the sea. The result is a formidable collection of timepieces, both modern and substantial,” says Coralie Charriol, CEO and Artistic Director.

And among the new additions is the St-Tropez Cruise. Elegant, sleek and minimalist in style, it would be ideal for a cruise on the blue waters of the Caribbean.

It is “the centerpiece of the new generation of St-Tropez watches“. Its 36mm stainless steel case is engraved on the bezel with the letters of the House. It is anchored to the bracelet by screws, also in stainless steel, to resist the salt water of the sea or the clear water of rivers.

The dial is pristine white, embellished only with the numbers 6 and 12 and nine silvered hour markers, reminiscent of the dial and bracelet. The seconds hand is plum colored and starts with a link, a motif inspired by the St. Tropez Mariner jewelry collection. This is the only touch of color present on the watch.

Regarding the movement, no watch complication, it is automatic and indicates the hours, minutes and seconds, with the date at 3 o’clock.

However, you will have to wait a little longer, as it will not be available until next July. Its price is 1990 Swiss francs (about 2018 euros).

Charriol, a history of know-how

The House of Charriol, founded in 1983 by its eponymous creator Philippe Charriol, specializes in timepieces, jewelry, and also perfumes. Since its inception, the company has sought to create products with a unique design and, above all, that make a difference. It is in fact a perfect symbiosis between French style and Swiss craftsmanship. All the watches are assembled in the brand’s workshops in Switzerland and are delivered worldwide.

While waiting to discover the new St-Tropez Cruise watch on the website, check out the entire collection, with its inimitable charm and pure elegance. For women, as for men, there is something for everyone!
