Adidas x Gucci: a second colorful and sporty collab

[vc_row njt-role=”people-in-the-roles” njt-role-user-roles=”administrator,editor,author,armember”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

After a first collaboration in 2022 and a capsule this winter, the sportswear brand and the Italian luxury house are joining forces once again for a second stunning collection.

Gucci and Adidas will once again collaborate for a tangy and comfortable collection, which is likely to sell out at lightning speed. A Gucci representative confirmed to Highsnobiety that the second wave of Adidas x Gucci is expected to arrive by the end of the month. The sportswear brand, however, refused to communicate on the subject.

The first collab was as much about clothes as shoes and accessories. This time, the focus will be on sneakers, to the delight of collectors and sneaker addicts.

It will be inspired by the 80s, with associations of bright colors, the famous double G monogram, but also vintage cuts for the few models of clothing. Flared pants, sport shorts and high socks or a Sharon Tate inspired jumpsuit, the hippies are back, in an ultra luxury version.

This capsule was once again imagined by the genius designer Alessandro Michele, before he bids farewell to the Italian label.

From head (but especially) to toe

This new collection will include eleven pairs of sneakers, with iconic models of the brand with three stripes, plus the touch of luxury signed Gucci. We will find the ZX 8000, which is remade with multicolored inserts and different materials while displaying (obviously) the co-branding.

The famous gazelle will also be present in the collection, with a new monogrammed and colored dress, from the upper to the sole. Good news for the it girls and sneakerheads, who have readopted this cult pair of the 70s.

Finally, three pairs of more minimalist slides will complete this capsule collection. A model that is perfectly suited to the upcoming summer season. Naked or with socks, they will adapt to all situations and all styles.

A marriage of couture and sportswear with a seventies touch

Besides the sneakers and flip-flops, the collection will also offer some clothes. This sparkling and retro clothing capsule will take you back to the 70s and 80s. It will be in the continuity of the previous edition, with similar inspirations. In addition to T-shirts, jackets, pantsuits and sweaters, this partnership also offers some accessories – caps, bobs and other bags – in the same spirit, ideal to protect yourself from the sun, while being at the cutting edge of fashion.

For the moment, no information has been revealed about prices and release date, but episode two of this collaboration should be available in the coming weeks on the respective websites of the brands, as well as in some boutiques and pop-up stores. Stay tuned and remember to save up before this unprecedented release!
