2023 Luxury Summit program finally unveiled

The 20th Summit of luxury and creation will take place on June 15 within the walls of the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris. Organized by the Centre du luxe et de la Création and in partnership with your magazine Luxus +, it will be followed by the Talents du luxe et de la création Awards Ceremony. Discover the program now.

Since its inception, the Luxury Summit has brought together over 6 000 participants and invited more than 500 speakers to take part in some 50 talks held within the framework of its circle, aimed at an audience from the four corners of the globe. The aim? To initiate reflection on the various issues facing the luxury creation and industry, and to facilitate new collaborations between players in the luxury world.

For this 20th edition, the Luxury Summit will examine the values and benchmarks that shape the soul of luxury today. In other words, what is becoming of this soul, and what are its vital principles? On its website, the Centre du luxe indicates that the subject is a response to the questions posed by certain designers.

Other topics to be addressed include luxury companies’ development and communications strategies, and start-ups at the heart of Made in France luxury innovations. Over the course of the day, discussions and exchanges will revolve around three round tables:

The first, starting at 9:30 a.m., will address the following theme: “What are the reference points in the face of geopolitical and sociological upheavals?” Participants will include anthropologist Marc Abélès, Geoffroy Bunetel, Director of the Chalhoub Group, Riadh Bouaziz, President and Founder of RKF Luxury Linen, architect Alain Moatti and Jonathan Siboni, CEO of Luxurynsight.

At 10:55 a.m., a keynote “From AI to creation” will follow this first part of the morning, given by Jean-Gabriel Ganascia, professor at the Sorbonne nouvelle and honorary member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

The second round table, which will take place at 11:20 a.m. before lunch, will consider the theme “What values to express the quintessence of luxury?” It will feature five luxury professionals from a variety of sectors, including hotels, household linen, haute gastronomy and communications. They will be Natalie Bader-Messian, Brand Advisor, Edouard Dumas, President of Compagnie Dumas and President of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regional EPV association, Mercedes Erra, Founding President of Groupe BETC, Gaspard de Moustier, Co-founder of Coucoo and Altipure, and Armen Petrossian, Honorary President of the Petrossian Group.

Following an introduction by Alberto Cavalli, Director of the Cologni Foundation for Art Professions and the Michelangelo Foundation, the final round table of the day will be held, entitled “What soul will transcend tomorrow’s Luxury planet?” Participants will include Eric Charles-Donatien, featherworker, embroiderer and artistic director of Mad Studio, Raphaëlle Le Baud, president and founder of Métiers Rares, Florence Bulté, director of sustainable development for the Chalhoub Group, Catherine Rénier, CEO of Jaeger Lecoultre.

At 4:30 p.m., once the Summit is over, the Talents du luxe Awards Ceremony begins, with a round-table discussion on creative trends moderated by Claire Domergue, director of our magazine.

And because the Luxury Summit is also a day for sharing, a cocktail reception will be held after the ceremony.
